The Board of Directors of Lyons Bancorp, Inc., the parent holding company of The Lyons National Bank (LNB) appointed Case A. Marshall and Kaye Stone-Gansz to the Boards of both the Holding Company and the Bank. They will hold these positions until the Company's annual shareholder's meeting in May 2014, when they will stand for election by the shareholders.
Marshall is CFO and Vice President of Marshall Companies, a family-owned entity that includes: 18 Pit Stop convenience stores located in Wayne, Cayuga, Oswego, Ontario and Onondaga counties; seven E&V Energy divisions offering home heating fuels and service across Wayne, Cayuga, Cortland, Oswego, Ontario, Jefferson and Tompkins counties; Patriot Tank Lines, a trucking company with two terminals located in Syracuse and Albany; Pyrus Energy, a provider of renewable energy systems for residential, agricultural and commercial application; and 911 Generators providing emergency and portable back-up power.
Marshall attended SUNY Plattsburgh as an accounting major and oversees all financial operations for the family's businesses. He currently serves as Chairman of the Petroleum Bulk Storage Advisory Council working with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation; was past Board Chair and current Treasurer of the New York Association of Convenience Stores; and is an Honorary Member of the Weedsport Volunteer Fire Department. He resides in Weedsport, New York, with his wife, Mindy, and their two children, Zachary and Paige.
Stone-Gansz is President and CEO of Stone Goose Enterprises, Inc. and oversees the daily and strategic operations of Smith's Gravel Pit, an aggregate mining facility in Sodus, New York. A graduate of Monroe Community College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and St. John Fisher College, she holds an Associates of Science degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computational Mathematics and a Master's degree in Business Administration. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
A 25-year veteran of Xerox Corporation prior to her role with Stone Goose Enterprises, Inc., Stone-Gansz is a 2004 recipient of the Rochester Business Journal's 40 under forty, a 2006 inductee into the Monroe Community College Alumni Hall of Fame and the recipient of the 2013 New York State Small Business Development Center's Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
Stone-Gansz is an executive board member of the Wayne County Business Council & Professional Women of Wayne County, a member of Tri County Networker's and a member of the Sodus Rotary Club. She is married to Ross Gansz, General Manager for CGS Fabrication in Webster, NY. They reside in Newark, NY, and have two children; Jacquelyn and Jon Ross.
