T he Lyons National Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of 3 employees: Trevor Thomas, Bobbie J. Tillinghast and Christina Valcore. Trevor Thomas was recently promoted to Operations Manager. Thomas will manage LNB's back-office operations group and design workflows to enhance efficiency and increase system utilization. Thomas joined LNB in 2004 as the Director of Training, and has held that position until his recent promotion. Thomas is the Executive Director of the African American Men's Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club. He is also Chair of the Finger Lakes Leadership Advisory Council and is Executive Treasurer of St. Paul's Full Gospel Baptist Church. Thomas resides in Geneva with his wife Tillary.
Bobbie J. Tillinghast has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of LNB's Seneca County Office. Tillinghast, who joined LNB earlier this year as a Customer Service Representative, will now be responsible for assisting the branch manager with various aspects of operations and sales functions, establishing specific goals for the branch and insuring department compliance with all operating policies and procedures. Tillinghast is Treasurer of the Boy Scouts of America Pack 74 in Waterloo. She resides in Seneca Falls with her 2 sons, David and Logan.
Christina Valcore has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of LNB's Newark Office. Valcore joined LNB in 2007 as a Head Teller and was promoted to a Customer Service Representative in 2009. Valcore will also be responsible for assisting the branch manager with various aspects of operations and sales functions, establishing specific goals for the branch and insuring department compliance with all operating policies and procedures. Valcore serves on the Newark Public Library Finance Committee. She resides in Marion with her husband Christopher.
Martin L. Custer recently joined LNB's Commercial Lending Team. Custer will work out of LNB's Geneva, Jordan and Seneca County Offices and will service Ontario, Onondaga and Seneca County. Custer was previously employed by KeyBank as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. Custer is Treasurer of the Skaneateles Arts Council and serves on the Patient & Family Advisory Board for Golisano Children's Hospital. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Syracuse Opera as well as the Salvation Army Advisory Board. Custer resides in Skaneateles with his 2 sons, Tristan and Caden.
Deborah Odell also recently joined LNB as the new Director of Training. Odell will be responsible for the Bank's overall Sales Training and Professional Development Programs, to support continued growth in all aspects of workplace learning and performance. Odell was previously employed by Five Star Bank as Vice President of Sales Training & Employee Engagement. Odell was recently elected to the Kiwanis Club of Seneca Falls-Waterloo Board of Directors, and is a United Way Women's Leadership Council Member. She resides in Seneca Falls with her husband Mike.
