LNB Celebrates National Compliment Day with Customers
Lyons, New York
On Friday, January 24, 2014, Lyons National Bank employees focused on the power of positivity. Recognizing National Compliment Day, staff spent the “unofficial” holiday showering customers and co-workers with heartfelt compliments as part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to providing the best customer service in banking.
Lobby visitors at all 12 Branches throughout Onondaga, Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates counties were welcomed with sweet treats as part of the celebration. Customers and co-workers were greeted with compliments and good vibrations spread throughout the Branches.
The highlight of the celebration took place at the home of Edna and Max Sontheim. Lyons Branch Manager, Julieann Downey, paid a visit to thank Mr. Sontheim for being LNB’s longest-standing customer with an original account dating back to 1933. Max was only 10 years old at the time.
“You should be recognizing my wife Edna,” said Mr. Sontheim with a smile. “She handles all the banking in the family.” Edna laughed noting that they’ve always been happy to be part of the LNB family and are proud to have three generations of shareholders in the family.
