Remembering Our Friend and Teammate, Phillip McCann
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing on Saturday, September 21, 2019, of our dear friend and colleague, Phil McCann. Phil joined The Lyons National Bank (LNB) in June of 2009 and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. In his decade of service with LNB, Phil was responsible for overseeing the Bank’s enterprise risk. “Phil’s knowledge and professionalism is a contributing factor to the current stability of the Bank,” said LNB president, Tom Kime. “His sound decision making and oversight will have a positive impact on LNB for years to come.” Phil is known at the office for his love of cars and his unplanned visits to colleagues with his common question, “What’s the good word for the day?” He was a mentor to many, even those beyond his departmental scope. His quick smile, funny stories, and friendship will be sorely missed. On behalf of the Board of Directors and Management team, the LNB family offers our deepest condolences to his loving wife, Juli.
